A few days ago, I was speaking about the editorial line of a blog. In my opinion you should stick to a regular style in your articles, make your reader feel at home and make yourself clear when you are writing.

Indeed, there can be many ways to understand one single sentence. People get used to one level of communication, and you will obviously always get readers who feel like on the same level than you.

However even with close friends or relatives there can be misunderstandings. As Lorelle explains in one of her latest posts, people can understand or see something you did not mean at all. That is why you should keep writing with a regular style if you do not want to hurt your reader. Of course, shocking can be a way of communication, and you will surely get reactions if one day you seem to have gone crazy on one of your posts!

So here is my piece of advise for today, that I will first try to apply to myself: be yourself, and give your blog a style and a way of writing that fits to it.
